-- How does SimpleCall work?
SimpleCall is a simple and easy way to make high-quality, cheap national and international calls. Registration is free, and when you sign up, you receive a FREE credit so that your first call is at no charge. You add credit to your account by topping up online or at your local Payzone or PayPoint facility. Once your account has credit, you can easily make cheap international calls in several ways, including using your mobile device, your PC, a landline and more.

-- How do I sign up for SimpleCall?
The quickest way to sign up to for SimpleCall is through our online registration form. You can also sign up using by calling our friendly SimpleCall customer support at 0800 008 7437.
-- What are the current SimpleCall international calling rates?
SimpleCall posts a detailed and current list of rates on our Call Rates page. Just select the countries you wish to call from and to, and click Search.
-- Are there any connection charges with SimpleCall?
There is no connection charge to any call destination.
-- How can I make a payment or “top up”?
  • Online using our safe and secure online payment system, which accepts all major debit and credit cards

-- How long will it take to update my account once I have topped up?
Your SimpleCall balance will be updated within 2-5 minutes if you have topped up online. Your account balance will be updated within 24 hours if you topped up using a PayPoint card.
-- How can I see my current account balance?
Log into your SimpleCall account and click “Current Balance.” You can also dial your access number from your registered phone to hear your current balance.
-- Can I top up at a Payzone Outlet?
Yes. SimpleCall has introduced Payzone top-up cards for your convenience. You can top-up your card with cash at any Payzone outlet without the need to register your number.
-- Can I also top up through PayPoint or at a post office?
Yes. SimpleCall has introduced PayPoint cards for your convenience. You can easily use the cards at any post office or PayPoint outlet. You can request your free PayPoint card be mailed to you once you are signed up and signed in to your account. You can also pick up a PayPoint card at the SimpleCall office located in Whitechapel. Please note: You cannot top up your PayPoint card online.
-- My account is empty and I need to make an emergency call but I don’t have Internet access. What can I do?
SimpleCall is here for you with our Emergency Top Up service. Simply call customer service and ask for an emergency top up. £1 will be added to your account and the debit will be adjusted on the next top up.
-- Are there any subscription charges or registration fees?
No. Once you have completed your free registration, you are ready to top-up and go.
-- Am I still charged if my call is unanswered or the line is engaged?
No. There are no charges unless you are successfully connected.
-- My phone/mobile provider has given me free minutes for national calls; will these free minutes be deducted when I use SimpleCall?
All our access numbers are local numbers to whichever country and area you are calling from, and so you will be charged by your provider at a your plan’s local rate.
-- Can I use SimpleCall from pay phones and landlines by dialling a toll-free number?
Absolutely. You can use the 0800 (toll-free) access number located on the SimpleCall Access Numbers page to make calls, but surcharges will apply to your SimpleCall account.
-- How many ways can I make a SimpleCall voice call?
SimpleCall Web offers a downloadable PC Dialler, so now you can make low cost international calls using your Windows-powered PC. You can make also use of our Web Phone too, which does not require a download. Your SimpleCall account will be debited for the calls just as it would be using a mobile or landline.

You can also utilize computable handsets and SimpleCall’s mobile dialler via the Apple fring app.
-- Can I use SimpleCall abroad?

Yes. SimpleCall provides access numbers that can be local to you while in more than 40 countries.
If you have registered the phone you wish to call from while abroad (i.e. a home phone, office phone or mobile), you can make calls anywhere in the world without a PIN number. All you have to do is dial the appropriate access number, the country code and then the destination number.

If you use a phone that is not registered with our system, but want to use it to make a call through your SimpleCall account, then you must obtain a PIN number (see next entry). Please note: If using your mobile phone, check with the provider regarding roaming and international calling charges while abroad. SimpleCall cannot be held accountable for any roaming charges imposed by your mobile service provider.
-- How do I obtain a PIN or SIP authentication number?
-- If I do not top up my account for a certain period of time will it expire?
No, there is no expiry time.
-- Once I open a SimpleCall account, do I always have to use the same phone in order to make calls?
No. Your account is accessible from any phone even if the phone is not registered, but you will need to use your PIN number to make the calls from a non-registered phone.
-- I have made a top-up payment but my account balance has not changed.
Before you make a payment, make sure you have the correct details in hand. If you pay by card, you will need the long number across the front of the card, the expiry date, start date, card issue number and the card’s security code (found on the back of the card).
-- What should I do if my credit/debit card has been refused when topping up?
Try re-submitting your request using a different card. For details on why your card was refused, you must contact your card issuer.
-- Will I receive confirmation on my top up?
Check your current account balance by signing into My Account. From there you can access your Current Balance, Top Up History, Call History (including duration of calls) and more.
-- I have forgotten my SimpleCall password to access my details. How do I request a new password?
To request a new SimpleCall password, go to the Sign In page and click the “Forgot Your Password?” link. You will be prompted for your phone number and email details you used when you registered with SimpleCall. Within minutes, an email will be sent with your new password. Once you have logged in with your new password you will be prompted immediately to change it to a password of your choosing.
-- I have been charged too much for a call. What should I do?
Please be aware of any surcharges imposed by your mobile or landline phone provider. Remember, if you use a pay phone to dial an 0800 number there is a surcharge. If a technical error has occurred, please contact SimpleCall customer support and we will investigate in to the matter.
-- Why can't I make a connection to my intended destination?
Your destination number may be in a rural area where reception/connection is limited. There can also be technical faults which are out of our control.
-- I am trying one access number but cannot get through. What can I do?
SimpleCall has many different access numbers. For example, for UK clients, we have nine access numbers. If you are unable to connect using one access number, please try another. You can view all available Access Numbers here. You can also contact SimpleCall Customer Support for this info.
-- How can I make my phone PIN-free?

Log in to your SimpleCall account and select “Add Phones and PIN.” Click the “Add” button, tick the “PIN Free Phone No.” box and enter the phone number you wish to call from PIN-free. Click “Save.”

You can also use SimpleCall Direct. SimpleCall Direct is a new, free feature available to all SimpleCall customers. SimpleCall Direct makes it easier than ever to connect to your contacts worldwide by eliminating the need for access numbers and PIN codes. Simply dial a pre-assigned local number from your registered SimpleCall phone, and you'll be talking in no time.
-- I have referred SimpleCall to a friend. Am I entitled to any sort of reward?
Yes! We have a SimpleCall Refer a Friend Reward programme in which you are eligible to earn 10 percent free call credit based on your friends’ top ups.
-- I have more than one phone number registered to my SimpleCall account – can I purchase an Unlimited Calls to India plan for each registered phone?
No. You may only purchase one plan per month, per SimpleCall account, and the Unlimited to India offer is only available from one registered number in your account. The offer will be automatically registered to the main phone number associated with your SimpleCall account.
-- Can I use a SimpleCall toll-free access number with the Unlimited to India plan?
No. The plan is only available by using the non-toll-free access numbers for your area.
-- How can I view my call history?
You can now view up to three months of call history online by signing in to your account and clicking on “Call History” from the left-hand menu. The Call History report will include:
  • The registered number from which each call was made
  • The destination number
  • The time and date of each call
  • The duration of each call
  • What your account was debited for each call
-- How do I obtain a signed and certified copy of my call history?
The charge for a certified copy of your call history is £5. To request a certified copy of your Call History up to six months, you can call or email Customer Support. Allow 2-3 working days to process your request. Customers need to provide a valid address and contact number. Customers can be contacted when papers are ready.
